Dear uk.culture.arts.writing,
I'd like to take the liberty of inviting members of this group to a
Scriberazone literature event.
It's going to be held at the Nudge, 36-38 New Oxford Street, London
WC1A. It will be a fabulous evening - shape your mind to fly! Not only
will it feature fine performance poets (Anthea Cambell, Jo Burns &
Martin Togher), but there will also be live downbeat from The Sam
Jones collective (featuring Ben Fuller on percussion & Lisa
Helmers-Olsen on vocals). DJ Z-Man will also be present spinning
fabulous, lounge, slo-mo & downtempo grooves. All the profits from the
night will be donated to the National Kidney Research Fund (registered
charity no: 252892), and the proceedings go on until 1am.
The Nudge is a wonderfully relaxed space with sofas and a great
ambience.
I hope to see you there! Bring your mates and a smile - it's going to
be a very special & soulful saturday night.
