Hi.
I'm having a problem with bash command history that's driving me nuts. I
have two users, call them A and B. I can't see how they're set up
differently. However when I enter a terminal window as user A and press
up-arrow I get the last command from my previous session. Doing that
with user B and I get a beep of protest. Later, after typing commands I
can get those back.
So in a few words, user A's command history goes back to a previous
session, user B's only goes back as far as the first command of the
current session.
I'd like user B to work like user A.
any ideas?
