Yeah, she even touched a couple of AIDS sufferers and walked around the edge
of a minefield once. Should we mint a new bravery medal in her honour?

OMG how can "Andrew" be so ignorant?
One can *not* catch AIDS by touching a sufferer.

Yep
Totally screwed up TV for an entire week, the only channel to resist the
urge and put some good stuff on was Channel 4. And they got slammed for
putting cartoons on in this "time of nation's grief". What it actually was
was "time of nation being browbeaten into acting all griefstricken", I
didn't fall for it and most of the people I know resented it too.

Of course, even C4 screwed up in the end, 1 week after her death, just when
the last episode of the avengers was about to be broadcast again, AND just
when their license on the avengers expired so they couldn't even postpone it
a week.... Tribute to diana. Queen of tarts^Whearts^Wtarts.

2. As far as real-life "fairy tale princesses" go, I prefered Grace Kelly.
